A recreational vehicle parking at residential communities in Gongshu district recently became a hot topic due to the targeted bathing services for seniors that it is offering, local media outlets reported.
For 199 yuan ($30.8) per person per time, seniors can enjoy one-stop services from one nurse and two assistants, who will check their blood pressure and glucose first, then help them take a thorough shower or bath. They will then help dry their bodies and hair, help them with a haircut or trim their fingernails and toenails at the rest area.
The rest area is also equipped with a TV, a multifunctional deck chair, a refrigerator, and a water dispenser to meet the seniors' diversified needs.
The intelligent hydroelectric system enables the entire vehicle to maintain a constant temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. The vehicle is also equipped with an automatic lift platform that can help seniors get on and off easily.
"I used to help my mother bathe, but the tiny bathroom is too crowded for us two, as I am worried about my mother getting hurt or catching a cold, while I myself am also quite tired," said a woman surnamed Xu.
"But now all my worries have vanished as this service not only offers an enjoyable bath experience for my mother, but also picks her up and sends her home."
