The Chizhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway commenced operations on April 26, with tickets becoming available for purchase at 8 pm on April 25.

Spanning across the mountainous areas of southern Anhui province, the Chizhou-Huangshan High-speed Railway originates from Chizhou Station, passing through Guichi district and Qingyang county in Chizhou, Huangshan district and Yixian county in Huangshan, and finally connecting to Yixian East Station, with a total length of 125 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 km per hour.

The railway line is connected to the Nanjing-Anqing High-speed Railway at Chizhou Station and to the Hangzhou-Nanchang High-speed Railway at Yixian East Station, linking renowned scenic spots such as Jiuhua Mountain and Yellow Mountain. It aims to promote the integration of tourism attractions and industries along the route, supporting the development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

During the railway's initial operation period, a transitional operating schedule will be implemented, with up to 12 pairs of trains operating daily.

A search for tickets from Hangzhou to Huangshan West Station on April 26 revealed five high-speed trains, with the shortest travel time being one hour and 35 minutes. Similarly, there are four trains from Hangzhou to Jiuhua Mountain, with the shortest travel time being two hours and 10 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at both Hangzhou East Station and Hangzhou West Station, with trains available in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
