Zhejiang police to improve entry and exit services
The Zhejiang Provincial Public Security Department announced 15 measures to improve entry and exit management services on March 3.
The bureau said it will develop the "12367" Zhejiang entry and exit hotline center, accelerate the development of multi-language intelligent customer service systems, and provide 24-hour services.
Other measures include setting up a foreigner visa point in the Hangzhou West Science and Technology Innovation Corridor to facilitate the handling of visa certificates, and expanding the application scenarios of permanent residency certificates in areas like finance, transportation, and accommodation.
With regard to the "one-stop" approval of foreign work permits and work-type residence permits, the bureau will pilot a joint approval mechanism that would expedite the handling of these permits.
The bureau will also optimize the service model of visa agencies at all airports in the province to provide 24-hour services for business, science, education, and medical professionals coming to China.
For foreign employees working in foreign-funded research and development centers in Zhejiang, the bureau will provide long-term residence permits and allow technical personnel to engage in part-time entrepreneurial innovation activities in the Yangtze River Delta region.
