Hangzhou's Yunchuang International Community has become a hub of cultural exchange, attracting international talent with its unique blend of local culture and global engagement.

At the Yunchuang night school, Nguyen Thi Nhat Linh from Thailand recently expressed excitement about learning traditional Chinese culture through a hanfu and floral accessories class, part of a special series tailored to young international residents.

The night school offers courses in traditional Chinese art forms, such as Diancha tea art, Wuchang's martial arts, and local bamboo weaving, fostering cultural appreciation among foreign youth. In addition to classes, Yunchuang has created a supportive environment with a new international youth society, offering language learning, calligraphy, and more to help residents integrate and engage with the community.

Located near Alibaba's headquarters, Yunchuang houses over 100 foreign residents and 1,100 entrepreneurship and innovation professionals. The area's recent upgrades focus on building a globally inspired, livable space through robust infrastructure, convenient government services, and cultural activities, with facilities such as the new Qingcheng Innovation Center.

International resident Kawula, who recently moved to Yunchuang, noted how easy it has been to integrate, having attended tea ceremonies, joined Chinese language groups, and experienced the welcoming local culture.
