Hangzhou-based Chinese beverage giant Wahaha Group plans to establish four e-commerce platforms, according to Zong Qinghou, chairman of the company and delegate to the fifth session of the 13th Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress, during the congress on April 26.

Zong said that the four platforms will be dedicated to health products, beverages, cross-border e-commerce and Habao Amusement Park, an online mall affiliated with Wahaha.

According to Zong, Wahaha is striving to develop its big heath industry and will keep investing in the research of heath care products.

He went on to say that his company would help 100,000 young people start businesses.

Zong said that e-commerce platforms can help expand sales amid the current novel coronavirus threat and provided other food and beverage factories with e-commerce sales channels.
