Hangzhou Party Secretary Zhou Jiangyong visited Guali town, Xiaoshan district on May 13 as part of the city's program to aid companies and residents.

During his visit, he urged officials to pay more visits to grassroots-level areas to learn about the needs of companies and residents.

He said that officials should devote themselves to solving practical problems related to epidemic prevention and control as well as social growth.

The delegation led by Zhou first visited Qiantang River Electric, a distribution transformer producer, where Zhou leant about how the company was restoring productivity.

Zhou urged the company's representatives to make use of digital technologies to upgrade the factory.

The delegation then visited the Seven Color Future Community, which was among the first group of future communities approved by the Zhejiang government. Future communities will explore new ways to make the most of transportation, culture, education and public services.

In Baliqiao village, the delegation inspected the local digital governance system "Lijiayuan" and praised local efforts to use digital technology to empower local management.

The Hangzhou government sent a team to Guali town to help solve difficulties facing companies and residents.

The team has visited 275 companies and 38 communities, helping solve 38 problems.
