The signing ceremony for the official non-alcohol beverage sponsor of the 19th Asian Games 2022 was held in Hangzhou on Aug 13.
Drink brand Wahaha was appointed as the sponsor of this category and will supply drinking water during the Games.
"Wahaha will make full use of our supply and sales chains, complete categories, and superb quality to serve the drinking water demands in Asian Games," said Zong Qinghou, chairman of Wahaha.
He added that Wahaha advocates the concept of "Win Happy Health", which is perfectly aligned with the Olympic spirit and public fitness, and helps to tell Hangzhou stories.

During the ceremony, Wahaha released three beverages – "Dianjing" soda water, "Shuidoudou" energy drink, and customized mineral water – that were specially designed for the Games.
Liu Guanchen, director of Wahaha Food and Beverage Research Institution, said, "Wahaha has built a specific team for the Asian Games, extending the invention of new beverages and conveying the idea of Hangzhou 2022."
Wahaha will in September launch "Haha Station", a project that will see vending machines capable of selling beverages and recycling empty bottles set up around Hangzhou.
The recycled bottles will be fabricated into green souvenirs, such as bags and raincoats, and encourage people to practice sustainability.
