China Frisbee League holds Hangzhou tournament

The China Frisbee League held its Hangzhou tournament at the Shangcheng District Sports Center from Nov 12 to 13.

Sixteen teams from across Zhejiang province played 44 matches at the two-day event, including a group phase, knockout stage and final.

The Ningbo Warriors Club and Hangzhou Longjing Shrimp won first and second place, respectively, and will represent Zhejiang at the upcoming national finals.

Frisbee sports originated in the United States in 1948 and became popular in Europe and the US in the 1970s. The World Frisbee Federation joined the IOC family in 2015. Industry authorities believe that Frisbee may be included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
