After more than a year of development and refinement, the Asian Games promotional song Love Reaches the Future became a hit soon after its release last month, local media outlets reported.

With its electronic dance music style and catchy reduplicated lyrics, it is impossible to resist the temptation to dance to its beat.

Wang Yongchang, a renowned Chinese lyricist and music producer, states that the song embodies the unremitting spirit of breaking waves and the Qiantang River tide.

"The Qiantang River tide in Hangzhou is famous around the world. As we benchmark the Asian Games, every athlete is like a wave, colliding and competing together and embodying the spirit of cooperation, competition, and respect. Each one of us is also like a wave, as only by embracing each other can we shine brightly."

Love Reaches the Future begins by focusing on the concept of "waves" to depict a broader theme. Each remarkable "wave" forms a collective family, symbolizing how drops of water come together to create streams and rivers, and how the unity of water creates beautiful waves.

The notion of "waves" also captures the imagery of the Qiantang River tide, representing the development of China in the new era and the pioneering spirit of Zhejiang province. Additionally, the "waves" are like dancing musical notes, conveying optimism, positivity, and joyful leaps towards the future.
