The Hangzhou High-Tech Zone (Binjiang) AIGC Industrial Innovation Center was launched on Dec 21, local media outlets reported.
The center aims to help enterprises by establishing a collaborative sharing mechanism for resources, scenarios, and model applications. Resident companies can showcase product applications, conduct experiments, and engage in exchanges.
The AIGC Industrial Alliance was also established. NetEase and Liuheqiao Venture Capital, as the chairman and secretary-general units, respectively, along with representatives from companies such as Hikvision, jointly signed the AIGC Alliance consensus.
The center is part of efforts made by the Hangzhou High-Tech Zone (Binjiang) to accelerate the development of the digital economy. The zone has already introduced and cultivated over 150 AI enterprises, covering various segments of the AIGC industrial chain. Key enterprises have generated revenues exceeding 180 billion yuan ($25.22 billion).
More than 20 enterprises have set up operations in the innovation center, engaged in over 10 industries, including large models, health, and industrial testing. The average age of the enterprises is around three years, with the average age of founding teams being 32 years.
Hangzhou Qianzhen Digital Technology Co, one of the first companies to set up operations in the center, expressed their appreciation, saying "The innovation center has set up a batch of technology support platforms, which are very friendly and useful for young companies like us."
