The Hangzhou Library unveiled a wuxia novel exhibition on March 10, marking the centenary of Jin Yong's birth.

Nearly 100 books, including classics such as The Smiling Proud Wanderer, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, and The Legend of the Condor Heroes, were showcased. Additionally, the exhibition featured biographies of Jin and critical analyses of wuxia novels.

According to library staff, the document borrowing center on the second-floor also offers a special section with nearly 1,000 wuxia novels, providing ample material for enthusiasts of the genre.

Statistics provided by the library reveal that Jin's wuxia novels consistently rank among the most borrowed books.

Even among those born in the 2000s, there are avid fans. One such fan is Tong, a 15-year-old student in Hangzhou, who is among the library's most frequent borrowers of Jin's works.

As Hangzhou Library pays tribute to Jin Yong's centenary, the exhibition aims to invite readers to revisit the chivalrous yet tender tales penned by Jin, inviting them to delve into the historical wisdom and humanistic spirit embodied within the classic works.
