Hangzhou's newest urban oasis, phase one of Yunmen Park, recently broke ground on the south side of Hangzhouxi Railway Station, next to the Longzhou North Road subway station.

The park will offer a great place to walk and relax for nearby residents, and its location just outside Hangzhouxi Railway Station will provide new arrivals with an immediate glimpse of the city's beauty.

Spanning an area of approximately 11,000 square meters, phase one of the park will feature facilities such as a bus transfer center, sports facilities, and cultural activity spaces.

The park will include eight scenic areas and serve to complement the already-completed Yunmen Gate and planned Yunhu Lake and Cloud Eyes.

In an effort to become a world-class urban park, it will also offer diverse cultural and entertainment functions. Visitors will be able to enjoy art exhibitions, concerts, and water shows at the sunken plaza. Additionally, the park will feature recreational areas like Children's Dream Garden and Waterfront Forest, providing pleasant green spaces for leisure and natural experiences.
