The Zhejiang Made International Certification Alliance Conference was held in Hangzhou on March 26, where achievements in quality certification work across the province were highlighted.

To date, Zhejiang has set up a total of 3,598 "Zhejiang Made" standards, covering 2,375 product types from 4,467 companies in the province. The efforts have resulted in the issuance of 6,129 "Zhejiang Made" certificates, with 408 companies receiving 549 international cooperation certificates, contributing to exports worth over $120 billion to 46 countries and regions.

In recent years, Zhejiang has taken the lead nationwide in building a brand and certification system. The system, utilizing internationally-recognized quality certification methods, helps companies enhance product quality and market competitiveness, enabling numerous local companies and products to stand out in the global arena.

To address trade barriers, Zhejiang promotes the linkage of certification and accreditation rules. Currently, 18 domestic and foreign authoritative certification institutions, including Switzerland's SGS, have been incorporated into the Zhejiang Manufacturing International Certification Alliance. Moreover, the "one-time certification, multiple-country certificates" model is being widely promoted.

Zhejiang has reduced enterprise export certification fees by a total of over 15 million yuan ($2.07 million). Additionally, the implementation of self-declaration for 19 product types under the China Compulsory Certification, or CCC, benefits 7,936 companies. The province has also opened convenient channels for exempting mandatory product certification, issuing 13,033 CCC exemption certificates to 1,146 companies, involving goods valued at over 16.4 billion yuan.
