Hangzhou Sports Group held a signing ceremony with its partners and unveiled its 2024 event calendar.

Three world-class international events are set to take place in Hangzhou between October and December: the 2024 Hangzhou Golf Open, the 2024 HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, and the World Drone Racing Championships. Additionally, efforts are underway to secure top-tier events like the ATP Hangzhou Open and the International Canoe Super Cup.

Moreover, the 2024 Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Canoe Marathon Series (Hangzhou leg) will be held on June 22-23. The event will feature 500-meter and 10-kilometer races, starting and ending at Gongchen Bridge and passing by at Wulinmen Wharf. The marathon is part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Grand Canal's UNESCO World Heritage listing.

The 2024 Hangzhou Golf Open is scheduled for Oct 17-20 at the West Lake Golf Club, attracting over 100 global competitors. The 2024 HSBC BWF World Tour Finals are tentatively set for December at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, featuring up to 64 top athletes competing for titles in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.
