Intl elites gather in Hangzhou for new cross-border e-commerce opportunities

The opening ceremony of the fourth Belt and Road Local Cooperation Committee (BRLC) Cross-border E-commerce Training Program was held at Alibaba's Xixi Campus in Hangzhou on May 28.

The event attracted over 40 e-commerce elites from 19 countries, including BRLC and World Urban Forum Asia-Pacific members, foreign trade officials, expatriate entrepreneurs in Hangzhou, and representatives from e-commerce companies.

The five-day program focuses on smart business, cross-border e-commerce, and AI-powered e-commerce. Participants will engage in in-class courses, interactive discussions, site visits, and business networking to gain in-depth insights into the commercial transformations driven by new quality productivity, the dynamics of cross-border e-commerce, and strategies for leveraging digital transformation to address crises and develop new business models. The training will also feature expert talks to help attendees grasp the pulse of intelligent business in the digital age.
