This year, the low-altitude economy is soaring across China, with regions vying to become "sky cities."

For Qiantang, the low-altitude economy is not a new venture. In April, the Qiantang Low-Altitude Smart Valley Research Institute was established. Collaborating with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Drone Research Institute and Wenrun Investment, Qiantang is advancing research and industry integration in the low-altitude economy, aiming to become the province's hub for the emerging sector.

Qiantang recently held a special government-enterprise dialogue focused on the low-altitude economy, where representatives from eight companies, research institutions, and universities discussed their future plans in the district.

Qiantang has previously attracted seven leading enterprises, including Huarui Aerospace Manufacturing Co and Xizi Aviation, which established a solid foundation for the district's leadership in the low-altitude economy.

Leveraging talent from Zhejiang University, Zhongfa Aviation Institute of Beihang University, 14 local colleges, and the Zhejiang Provincial Electromechanical Vocational Education Base, Qiantang has developed a comprehensive aviation talent system.

The district also houses three major research platforms, including Zhejiang University's Aviation Manufacturing High-End Equipment Research Center, strengthening its position in the low-altitude economic landscape.
