China recently announced the athletes that will participate in the gymnastics, trampoline and artistic gymnastics events of the Paris Olympic Games. Hangzhou native Wang Lanjing, born in 2005, was on the list to compete in the artistic gymnastics team event.

In the video, Wang, extended her best wishes to the teachers and students of her alma mater, saying, "I am currently preparing for the Paris Olympics. I spent six years studying at West Lake Primary School, the site of my happiest childhood memories. I will never forget my teachers and classmates. I am grateful to my alma mater for providing me with a joyful childhood and laying a solid foundation for me to pursue my dreams courageously."

In early 2011, Wang's exceptional physical attributes led to her enrollment in the Hangzhou Chen Jinglun Sports School, marking the beginning of her artistic gymnastics journey. Three years later, she made it to the provincial team, commencing her professional career in artistic gymnastics.

In October 2017, Wang joined the national youth team for training, and in December 2020, she was selected for the national training squad. Over the years, the young talent has grown rapidly, demonstrating her remarkable talent on the competition stage.
