In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City's World Heritage listing, the Liangzhu Cultural Corridor is set to unveil a new cultural landmark, the Liangzhu 5000+ Art Creation Park, marking a milestone in the region's cultural and creative development.

The park will feature a range of activities such as art and culture exhibitions, creative markets, collaborative art projects, live music performances, and light and shadow art displays.

The Liangzhu culture, dating back to approximately 4,300 to 5,300 years ago, is renowned for its jade designs and carving techniques and represents the pinnacle of Neolithic Chinese art.

Located in the historical center of the Liangzhu culture, the new park is adjacent to the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City and complements nearby landmarks like the Liangzhu Museum and the Hangzhou branch of the China National Archives of Publications and Culture.

According to the park's management, the Liangzhu 5000+ Art Creation Park is one of the initial 10 projects in the Liangzhu Cultural Corridor initiative. It aims to link various cultural and tourist attraction centered around Liangzhu culture, establishing a new urban cultural identity.

The opening will also signal the start of commercial leasing within the park, inviting businesses and artists to join.
