The 2024 Zhejiang Disabled Artists Biennale opened at the Zhijiang Branch of the Zhejiang Library on July 2.

Centered on the theme "Art Without Barriers," the exhibition aims to illuminate the hearts of viewers through the creative works of disabled artists. The event offers a profound opportunity for the public to appreciate the unique perspectives and creativity of the artists.

The exhibition features works by disabled individuals from across the province, showcasing the achievements of special education in arts and contributions from Zhejiang's aided regions. Over 200 selected pieces from more than 50 special education schools and social organizations are displayed, creating a vibrant and diverse artistic tapestry.

"This resonates perfectly with our library's commitment to inclusive and open services. It's not just an art feast but a deep interpretation of the resilience and spirit of disabled individuals," said Li Jianying, deputy director of the Zhejiang Library.

The exhibition runs until July 26, inviting all citizens to visit and experience the unique artistry.
