Hangzhou resumed passenger flights to and from Shizuoka, Japan on July 10.

Shizuoka has become the third Japanese destination after Tokyo and Osaka to which flights have been resumed, increasing the number of weekly flights between Hangzhou and Japan to 33.

The Hangzhou-Shizuoka route is operated by Capital Airlines, with two flights per week. Outbound flight JD369 departs Hangzhou at 15:20 and arrives in Shizuoka at 19:00 local time. Return flight JD370 departs Shizuoka at 20:00 local time and lands in Hangzhou at 22:20.

Notably, this year marks the 42nd anniversary of the friendship between Zhejiang province and Shizuoka Prefecture. To celebrate, the Zhejiang Province and Shizuoka Prefecture Friendship Exhibition will be held in the departure hall of Terminal 4 at Hangzhou International Airport for a week, coinciding with the launch of the new route.

The opening of the Hangzhou-Shizuoka route will enhance exchanges between the two regions, catering to business and tourism travel needs and facilitating the flow of people, goods, and commerce.
