How intl convention eases foreign enterprise registration
The Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (the "Convention") entered into force in China on November 7, 2023.
Foreign-invested enterprises registering on the Chinese mainland and included in the Contracting States need only submit an Apostille Certificate issued by their respective countries. Consular authentication is no longer required. This will greatly reduce the time and cost of cross-border transmission of documents.
