Tonglu hosted the inaugural River Delicacies Festival on July 29, showcasing its unique river delicacies to visitors.

At the event, an AI-generated poet named Fan Zhongyan appeared by the Fuchun River to unveil the comprehensive Tonglu River Delicacies Map. "The map features over 100 restaurants selling river delicacies, offering a convenient guide for exploring and enjoying authentic Tonglu flavors," said an official from the Tonglu county culture, radio, television, and tourism bureau. Additionally, the organizers awarded the title of "Top 10 River Delicacy Stores" and introduced 20 Tonglu river delicacies, including steamed white fish, Tonglu vinegar fish, braised bream, fresh river shrimp, and assorted fish stew.

With a high-speed rail journey from Hangzhou to Tonglu taking just 18 minutes and the upcoming opening of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed rail, Tonglu is set to become more accessible than ever.
