Searching "1314 Bus" on social platform Red yields hundreds of results. Since their launch on the Qixi Festival in 2019, Hangzhou's 1314 and WE1314 Love Buses have become quite popular.
These buses symbolize the deep cultural ties between Hangzhou, China, and Verona, Italy—both known as "Cities of Love". The bus route creatively connects landmarks associated with romantic legends, such as Butterfly Lovers and Lady White Snake, offering passengers a visual and emotional journey.
Over the past five years, the love bus has continually enhanced its service quality and has been involved in various humanitarian efforts, such as providing custom wedding car services for frontline workers and launching a special bus to support Italy during the pandemic.

With the Qixi Festival approaching, the love bus will be revamped with new decorations, upgraded details, and a continuation of its classic green, white, and red color scheme, along with new creative elements.
Hangzhou Public Transport Group invites couples and married pairs to celebrate the love bus's fifth anniversary by sharing their sweet memories. A special Qixi-themed bus will be introduced, and participants can contribute to its design by uploading a love-related photo. Whether it's a cherished moment between partners or a romantic snap on the love bus, these images could become part of the bus's unique interior design.
