Hangzhou hosts fitness-for-all event

Amid the ongoing Paris Olympics, Hangzhou celebrated the 16th National Fitness Day with a unique challenge from Aug 2 to 4 across 13 districts in the city.
The challenge features seven designated fitness activities and one special surprise activity. The designated activities are designed to be both enjoyable and challenging, catering to participants of all ages and professions, while the surprise activity adds an exciting twist.
Events include cuju (ancient Chinese football) in Shangcheng, pot-throwing in Xihu, traditional archery in Binjiang, squash in Xiaoshan, rugby in Yuhang, and karate in Linping. Gongshu is using the Asian Games hockey field, while Qiantang and Fuyang are combining traditional labor with sports.
The event is taking making use of multiple Asian Games venues, allowing people to experience the tangible and intangible assets left by the Games and injecting new vitality into the transformation of Hangzhou's sports industry.
