A visually striking pedestrian bridge opened at the intersection of Binkang Road and Jucai Road in Binjiang district, Hangzhou on Aug 12.
The bridge spans approximately 176.6 meters and ranges from 5.5 to 13 meters in width. Its unique design resembles two intertwined ribbons, creating an eye-catching "工"-shaped structure made of continuous steel box beams.
This new bridge enhances pedestrian safety and separates foot traffic from vehicles, improving road efficiency and overall safety at the busy intersection.
