The 2024 FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Finals, an event authorized by the International Basketball Federation, is set to be held at the Cultural Square in Xiaoshan district, Hangzhou from Sept 7 to 8.

The event will feature a total of 12 round-robin matches and five knockout matches. This is the first time a Chinese city has hosted the Women's Series Finals, with the Chinese team securing a spot as the host nation.

Established in 2019, the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series is the most prestigious professional women's competition within the FIBA 3x3 basketball event system, where players can participate in the form of national teams or professional clubs. This season, the series consists of 20 tournament stops with a prize pool exceeding $1.4 million.

So far, 16 stops have been completed, with the remaining three stops set to conclude on Aug 25. Following the conclusion of the stops, the top seven teams in the rankings will travel to Hangzhou to compete in the finals alongside the Chinese team for the championship title.

Diverging from the typical basketball arena setting, this event will take place directly in the heart of Xiaoshan, providing an opportunity for more locals to witness the competitive spirit of top basketball players from various countries.
