The "AI Hangzhou" (爱杭州) platform was launched at the seventh Hangzhou International Day on Sept 5. This digital platform aims to provide comprehensive services for international residents and visitors in Hangzhou, offering support in areas such as accommodation, banking, healthcare, and travel.

Hangzhou, already a top destination for international tourists, has seen a significant increase in visitors from around the world, especially from countries like Malaysia and Singapore, with numbers rising 45-fold compared to last year. With the AI Hangzhou platform, international residents can now access key services, including visa appointments, hospital bookings, and public transport information, all through Alipay's City Services mini-program.

Notably, Hangzhou's 144-hour visa-free transit policy and improved airport facilities make the city even more accessible. Enhancements like the new T4 terminal at the Hangzhou International Airport and expanded mobile payment options, including cash, cards, and mobile payments, provide greater convenience for international visitors.

As Hangzhou continues to grow as an international hub, the AI Hangzhou platform is expected to play a crucial role in improving the city's digital and urban services for foreign residents and tourists alike.
