The Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway officially opened on Sept 6, establishing a new cultural and tourism artery across Zhejiang province.

This high-speed link significantly reduces travel time between Hangzhou and the province's southernmost city of Wenzhou, enhancing the accessibility of scenic spots along the route.

Key stops include Hengdian in Dongyang, Jinhua, known as a cultural hub for China's film industry, and Pujiang county, famous for its crystal arts. The railway shortens travel from Hangzhou to Hengdian to just 30 minutes and provides easy access to scenic and historic destinations like Pujiang's mountains and ancient villages in Hangzhou's Tonglu county.

With this new connection, tourists and businesses can expect faster, more efficient travel, boosting regional tourism and economic growth.
