Manjuelong village is alive with the scent of osmanthus, attracting a record 60,000 visitors on Oct 13.

Amid the blooms, a persimmon tree has become a social media hit, drawing crowds with its abundance of ruby red fruit. The tree's owner, Tang Huazhong, proudly confirms its natural growth: "No fertilizer, no pesticides. It's completely real!"

Beyond its picture-perfect appearance, the persimmon tree symbolizes the generosity of Manjuelong's villagers. Every morning, Tang picks the ripe fruit to share with local elders and sometimes visitors.

What makes the experience even more heartwarming is the behavior of the visitors. Despite the large crowds, everyone respects the tree and the village, with no one attempting to pick the persimmons or damage the osmanthus.

The village, now in its second wave of osmanthus blooms, offers scenic markets, tea houses, restaurants, and homestays, offering not only the beauty of nature but also a sense of community and kindness.
